Property Description: This 50-foot wide river corridor easement along the Hungerford Brook will help improve the health of the river by providing a buffer to absorb nutrient runoff from the farm fields.  Vegetation has been planted in this buffer, further reducing erosion and enhancing riparian wildlife habitat.  Previously channelized and straightened, Hungerford Brook will also be allowed to regain its natural meandering pattern.
