Essay Contest Winner Writes About VRC

Tuesday, May 27th, 2014

VRC was honored to be the subject of 12 year old Luke Hawley’s winning essay for the 2014 Members Advantage Community Credit Union’s Youth Essay Contest. Young writers were tasked with writing about an organization they feel makes a difference. Luke wrote that VRC’s protection of waterfalls and swimming holes is “very important…[because] the rivers and lakes give water to the animals. This is a big deal!” Thank you, Luke, for recognizing that the work we do is making a difference. We hope to see you at a swimming hole this summer! And thank you to the Members Advantage Community Credit Union for the donation.
