Scott Devlin Memorial Paddlers' Campsite
One of many paddle-in campsites on the Connecticut River Paddlers’ Trail, the Scott Devlin Memorial Paddlers’ Campsite a great place for canoers and kayakers spend the night. The surrounding land is still farmed by the LeFoll family, whose farm was conserved by Vermont Land Trust, and Vermont River Conservancy helps keep the campsite in great shape.
The campsite is named in honor of Scott Devlin. A professional pilot and aircraft builder, Scott was a Tennessee native who loved the mountains, forests, and streams of Vermont. A true adventurer at heart, but always ready to help another, Scott died at the age of 33 in an air crash. He would have loved camping here.
