Join us at the BioBlitz!

Tuesday, June 11th, 2019

On Sunday, June 23rd, we hope you’ll come out and join the BioBlitz in Bridgewater, Vt!  This event is raising awareness for an important wilderness area called the Bridgewater Hollow Bramhall Preserve.  VRC is proud to be partnering with the Northeast Wilderness Trust, and we look forward to holding a Forever Wild conservation easement to protect these important headwater forests.  The BioBlitz event is free and has activities for all ages and levels of ability.  There is also a fundraising opportunity for this important preserve – Shelby Perry of Northeast Wilderness Trust is going to walk to Bridgewater for this event!  Shelby will begin her trek in Montpelier and will walk the 55 miles (in 2.5 days) to the BioBlitz in Bridgewater!  Click the link to read why she is undertaking this adventure, and please donate to her walk (sponsor by the mile or make a one time donation).  100% of all funds will go directly toward conserving the Bridgewater Hollow Bramhall Preserve!   http://www.newildernesstrust.org/walking-for-wilderness/
