Nulhegan River Clean-up

Monday, September 26th, 2016

On October 9th, join river enthusiasts on a Sunday afternoon paddle along a scenic section of the Nulhegan River in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Peak fall colors should abound! While on the water we will be stopping to remove a long abandoned paddle-boat.

This is an intermediate trip – while flatwater, expect to walk your boat around two rocky sections, over beaver dams, and up a steep hill at the take-out.

Consider staying for dinner around a campfire and night under the stars at a new trail and campsite developed along the river.

On Monday, we’ll be raising a timber framed hut on property conserved at the confluence of the Nulhegan and the East Branch. (More info)
