VRC Board welcomes Geo Honigford

Monday, May 20th, 2019

Geo Honigford runs an organic vegetable and popcorn farm (Hurricane Flats Farm) on the banks of the beautiful White River in South Royalton, VT.   On an almost daily basis in the summer he is swimming, boating, or using the river for irrigation.  A founding board member of the White River Partnership, he has been working on river related issues for the past 25 years and continues to enjoy learning more about river dynamics and how people can responsibly interact with the river.  He has been married to Sharon O’Connor for 27 years and has two adult daughters who grew up playing in the White River.   It may seem perverse to some, but Geo actually enjoys pulling trash out the river.
