Watersheds United Vermont seeks new Coordinator

Tuesday, November 24th, 2015

Join Watersheds United Vermont in leading the grassroots effort to improve watershed health across the state.  Watersheds United Vermont (WUV) is a state-wide network of local groups dedicated to the health of their home watersheds. Our mission is to empower community-based watershed groups in all parts of the state to protect and restore Vermont’s waters. Watersheds United Vermont seeks a dynamic and collaborative part-time Coordinator to facilitate networking between our 32 member Watershed Groups, promote resource sharing via in-person and online mediums, share technical information from our 53 state-wide partners, and act as a liaison for state-wide communications.   The new Watersheds United Vermont Coordinator will lead the effort to achieve WUV’s mission, enhance our 2 year track record with additional funding support, and facilitate strategic communications with the VT DEC Water Quality Division.  Now is a pivotal and exciting time in Vermont’s efforts to improve our state-wide water quality.
